AITT and Aretao: Currently Looking for funding

Working with the Moldova Academy of Science (ASM) Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT) project that will help innovators in the country of Moldova in the scientific and business communities that are unable to fully realize the commercial potential of their innovations because of insufficient access to training.

Revolution Energy - SAU 16

Innovative energy project, working with an innovative company, helping a school district save money while teaching the next generation of leaders about the future. What's not to love about a project like that?

Aretao has a long-term contract for education and project management support with Revolution Energy on the SAU 16 energy project in Exeter, NH. This incredible project includes a solar array, a microturbine, and boilers.

Projects Overview

Aretao’s consultants have experience helping local, national and international organizations in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Their New Hampshire experience includes planning and implementation of public works (e.g., energy efficiency; landfill closures/ transfer station design), business development (e.g., intranet design and deployment; workforce training; start-up planning and implementation) and community-wide housing rehabilitation projects.

As anyone who reads this knows, things can change quickly in our world. Those of us in management need to make sure our organizations are continuously learning and evolving to meet new challenges. Here at Aretao we realize that this is vital if we are to continue to be able to help our clients. We get a sense of what's currently important by observing the type of projects our team members are currently involved in, inside and outside of Aretao. Here is a partial list:
  • An energy efficiency project that involves the installation of combined heat and power in tandem with solar photovoltaic electricity (and other energy efficiency measures) so that the total energy costs of the organization will go down when the system is put into service (highlighted above)
  • An international collaboration with a government agency in Moldova to provide business development training and consulting to innovative and technology business start ups in Chisinau (highlighted above)
  • Organizing participants in a learning space in Second Life so that local high school students can participate with schools around the world (including those in Australia, Asia, and North and South America) and can learn together
  • Training professionals (reporters, teachers, government officials, etc.) how to use web 2.0 technologies and new equipment (e.g., smart phones, etc.) more effectively
  • Took a trip to Italy to determine the steps to set up a branch office there and to scout business opportunities
